Start Strong at Cuddles 4 Kids!

At Cuddles 4 Kids we believe every child deserves access to quality early education.

That’s why we’re proud to offer Start Strong funding, a government initiative designed to support families by making childcare more affordable.

This funding helps reduce the cost of preschool programs, giving your child the best start in life without the added financial stress.

What is Start Strong funding?

The Start Strong program is designed to:

  • Provide fee relief for families with children aged 3 to 5 years attending a preschool program. Families could save up to $2,174 annually for eligible four-year-olds and up to $515 for eligible three-year-olds. This benefit is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) many families already receive (but you don’t have to have CCS to claim the fee relief).
  • Support children’s early development by ensuring they have access to quality early childhood education
  • Encourage more families to enroll their children in approved preschool programs that lay a strong foundation for future learning and school readiness.

Who is eligible?

Start Strong funding is available to families with:

  • Four-Year-Olds: Your child must turn four (4) on or before 31st July 2025.
  • Three-Year-Olds: Your child must turn three (3) on or before 31st July 2025.
  • Are enrolled in an approved early childhood education program at a participating center like ours.

How Does It Work?

The funding provides a weekly reduction in your gap fees:

  • For children aged four years old on or before 31 July 2025: Up to $50 per week.
  • For children aged three years old on or before 31 July 2025: Your child must turn three (3) on or before 31st July 2025.
