Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The CCS helps reduce the cost of child care by providing financial assistance to eligible families. The subsidy is paid directly to our service, lowering your out-of-pocket fees.

The amount you receive depends on:

• Your family's income
• The hours of activity you and your partner undertake (such as work, study, or volunteering)
• The type of child care you use and the age of your child

You can check your eligibility and estimate your subsidy using the Centrelink Payment and Service Finder on the Services Australia website.

2. Complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment by providing details about your family, income, and activity hours.
3. Once approved, confirm your child’s enrollment with us through your myGov account.

We make the process simple for families. After you’ve applied for CCS:

• Let us know your Customer Reference Numbers (CRNs) for both you and your child.
• We will submit your child’s enrollment details to Centrelink.
• You’ll receive a notification through myGov to review and confirm the details.
• Your subsidy will then be applied directly to your fees, reducing your weekly payments.
